I challenge you guys to perform a Beacons > Droknar's Forge run as a 55 monk.

The run is extremely hard for a monk so it's more of a challenge than anything else (i.e.: Don't expect to make money out of it running people if you would succeed)

The rules are simple:

You must do it alone
You must take screenshots

Choose any secondary profession you want, die as many times as you want, try as many times as you want. I managed to do it twice, and it's extremely hard. I will not submit my build right now, but I will do so if nobody manages to do it. To those who might think Lornar's Pass is insanely hard, Dreadnought's Drift (from North to South) is just as hard.

ive gotten down to snake dance before (i usually get stuck when the worms start to pop up. however i must add that i havent used my current running build yet for droks runs but im pretty sure it would work with a bit of practice. Maybe ill look into it.

Because it is impossible to do with a 55hp build, unless you could manage to cover protective spirit with 5 other enchantments, which you can't.

Edit: Come on guys, I know there are some good monks here, I'd like you guys to try

I can't believe you of all people say something like that is 'impossible'. Sure it's not easy, but it's by no means impossible. I have a few ideas that could make it doable (barbed trap + storm chaser perhaps?) The only hurdle is getting to the portal without aggro following you there.

Sno the thing is that there are about 4 of them you HAVE to tank to activate portal (rest you can just outrun), and they use chillblains as soon as they come close to you. That means you would need many cover enchantments because they cast it really quickly.

It is not impossible at all with a high HP build, but I think it is with 55 (Unless perhaps you bring Vigorous Spirit+Guardian+whatever else to cover PS, which I'll try later) Anyhow, I'll try it again sometime when we don't have favor.

Back to challenge! I'm kinda sad no one wants to participate... Come on guys

he scarabs that come out near the teleporter you lure away for a while then u sprint/stomchaser etc towards the portal and then w8 behind the portal for the scarabs to move. Then you activate the teleporter.

I tried, i couldnt keep balanced stance up enough, it sucked.

SB helped a lot, but i was thinking of going Mo/E for Obsidian Flesh...but then no balanced stance...it was bad, you made me waste half an hour of farming, haha.

ive almost made it from rankor to beacons.. before but die at worms.. cause of knock down and i can make it to everyone town in desert except from amoon to augury.. once i almost had it but then scarabs got wise came by portal and i coulndt get out and i died of course

Why 55hp? I made the run with my Mo/W normal Tactics+Healing.
Wasting time on 55hp monk running is like... eh, you get it.

my new mo/w running build didnt work (spell cooldown is too long). my same build with serpands quickness may help but then ill lose ballanced stance

. Ill keep trying though

You are probably confusing Beacons > Droks with Ascalon to Piken. But now I'm asking for Beacons > Droks, and you need screenshots as a proof

need a good offhand or rod with enchantment extension... and probBlessed aura to extend spell breaker... And either charge or sprint... to do the running... and your normal 55 monking build... wow thats a lot to do in one build... IDK... prob alot of dying and being close enough to res shrine to make it... not a true Run per say...More like run warp run... I may be wrong... But those darn imps are a pain....
